This was a unique project that required ultimate creativity and loads of space planning. While the client loved each of the 5 pieces that came together to form this ring, she wanted them all together in one piece.
After working with the gemstones, Kristen was able to work the most important elements into a single ring that is super comfortable to boot!
At the center sits a beautiful 1 carat diamond flanked by 4 oval spinels from the client’s deployment in Afghanistan. Leading into the tapered band are 3 round diamonds on each side from a special wedding band and a grandmother’s ring. Finally, at the top, surrounding the center diamond, are 6 little sparkle diamonds from grandmother’s ring. All of these parts come together in 18K rose gold giving this ring a sparkly, feminine aesthetic that is both elegant and strong at the same time!
