Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Kristen decided to plant her roots in Savannah after graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor’s degree in Jewelry. While going to school for jewelry design, she was honored as a Valedictorian nominee, a Presidential Scholarship Recipient, and received the Outstanding Achievement award in Jewelry.
After graduating from SCAD, and wanting to hone in on her craft, Kristen received her Rhino/CAD certification and attended the renowned New Approach School for Jewelers, completing the Graduate Bench Jeweler program under the direction of world-class instructor, Blaine Lewis. In 2015, she decided to start her own business.
Pieces from Kristen Baird are displayed and sold at the Kessler Collection Grand Bohemian Galleries and have been featured in high-end publications, such as Savannah Magazine, Charleston Magazine, Charleston Style & Design, Paprika Southern, Virginia Living, Lark Books, and more.

OUR STORY A piece of jewelry can mean many things, to many people. Kristen has an eye for seeing what her clients find most important, and creating a unique piece of work from it. Intricate, textural, and harmonious are but a few words that best describe Kristen’s fine jewelry. With each handcrafted piece, Kristen and her team aim to create meaningful, beautifully designed jewelry relevant to each stage of your life. From creating a moment with a uniquely designed engagement ring to capturing a memory with a sentimental heirloom redesign to celebrating a milestone with a piece from our designer collection, Kristen and her team want to be there for you every step of the way.
Kristen’s aesthetic pays homage to motifs found in nature – waterfalls, landscapes, flora – with a graceful nod to the manmade elements of architecture. Kristen’s work displays a unique ability to meld disparate influences into jewelry that is structural, but also seems as though it might have sprung organically from the natural world. Her work treats nature as a dance, never still and always changing, often capturing a transitory moment. Kristen and her team are dedicated to creating these unique pieces through purchasing ethically sourced materials, utilizing environmentally conscious practices, and promoting continuing education and wellness initiatives
Kristen and her team aim to help clients celebrate milestones in life by helping create experiences that are positive and empowering. The values of quality and craftsmanship are integral to Kristen’s work, which is designed and crafted in her private studio in Savannah, GA. She works with non-conflict materials of the highest quality and crafts each piece by hand. Gold, platinum, and sterling silver with gemstones and pearls are used to create interplay of texture and color that bring these beautiful and timeless creations to life.
