Our Jewelry 

Every piece of Kristen Baird® Jewelry is inspired by nature and handcrafted with love, right here in my Savannah studio. I utilize traditional jewelry-making techniques to craft heirloom-quality pieces that are as unique and vibrant as the person who wears them. Through five Signature Collections, I inject my work with colors and textures, juxtaposing forms both geometric and fluid, as though sprung organically from the serene coastline of Georgia or the glorious hills of Tennessee. 

So close your eyes, listen to the gentle chirp of the cicadas, breathe in the sweet scent of azaleas, and let yourself dream.

What you see on my website is just the beginning. Think of it as window-shopping: beautiful and fun, but there’s so much more to discover! Because my work is highly customizable and many pieces are one-of-a-kind, the best ways to shop are by scheduling a personal shopping appointment, either in-person or online, or visiting my unofficial Savannah storefront, Gallery 209, where I am a proud co-owner with over 30 local artists.

The Kristen Baird® Story

Growing up in Richmond, Virginia, I always loved tinkering, crafting, and creating with anything I could get my hands on. I never imagined that one day this pastime would become my career. I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I intended to study architecture and Interior Design, but soon learned that my true passion lay in jewelry design: architecture in miniature.

In 2015, I founded Kristen Baird® Jewelry, where I was the sole employee. It was during this era that I created my first Ripple Ring. The gently flowing, water-like band soon became my signature look, and everything I’ve done since is built on that foundation.

In 2018, I was awarded the Halstead Grant as well as the SCAD Alumni Atelier Award, allowing me to take a transformative summer residency in Lacoste, France. Later, I was absolutely floored to see Oprah wearing one of my Splash Cuff bracelets on national television! I also received the Red Backpack Grant from Sara Blakely of Spanx in 2020. In 2025, my story came full circle when I was invited to serve as the guest judge for the 2025 Halstead Grant!

Today, I’m fortunate to have an excellent assistant in the studio, but every piece of jewelry is still designed and touched by me personally. I’ve also been grateful to surround myself with an incredible team of photographers, writers, social media coordinators, accountants, and more. Together, we make Kristen Baird® Jewelry. 

It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for every step along the way.

Our Values

As the founder of Kristen Baird®, I’m committed to an ethic of sustainability and service. 

Kristen Baird® metals are sourced from a Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) Certified Supplier. Our primary parts supplier uses 100% recycled materials in all their components. We also utilize ethically-sourced natural gems, as certified through the RJC or Kimberly Certification, as well as the highest-quality lab-grown gems. On an individual craftsmanship level, I frequently reuse materials in my own studio, melting metals and forming parts and pieces into new creations. 

The Kristen Baird® Core Values extend beyond jewelry-making. As a local business owner, I’m committed to giving back to my community. Throughout the year, we donate to numerous local organizations and have built ongoing partnerships with outstanding charities. We believe that by strengthening our Savannah community, we can make the whole world a better place.
