I'm Kristen and I'm the founder and designer here at Kristen Baird Jewelry. We are a fine jewelry brand nestled in historic Savannah, Georgia, right between the moss-covered oak trees and a glass of sweet tea.
While our city is picturesque and laid back, here, at Kristen Baird, we are on a mission! Our mission is to create meaningful, beautifully designed and skillfully crafted pieces of jewelry relevant to each stage of your life. That's right, you are the driving force behind what we do!
Do you need help finding the perfect piece for your occasion? Contact us for assistance!
Whether it be helping you create your proposal moment with our bridal collection or celebrate a milestone like an anniversary or birthday with a piece from our signature collection, we want to be there for you and with you all along the way!
"How did you end up here making jewelry?", you might ask. To be honest, I didn’t always know I wanted to be a jewelry designer, although my parents would say the macaroni necklaces I made as a kid, told a different story. After time spent studying architecture and interior design, I finally found my calling when I stumbled into the jewelry department at the Savannah College of Art and Design. It was love at first sight!
Fast forward a few years and here we are. These days you can find me and my team working in the studio delicately and precisely crafting each design by hand. We believe in using ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones with materials of the highest quality as we utilize and preserve traditional metalsmithing skills to bring our designs to life. “Made in America” is something we are proud to say about each piece that leaves our studio!
One thing you will notice across my collections is the natural feeling and the organic flow within my work. Drawing inspiration from my southern upbringing - think summer days spent frolicking in the fields, working in the gardens with my Nanny, laughing until our sides hurt as we ran and played until the sun set and the lightning bugs came out - I inject my work with color and texture, juxtaposing forms both geometric and fluid, as though the designs might have sprung organically from the natural world. My clients tell me that my jewelry contains a “happiness and joy, a sense of nostalgia, a feeling of freedom”. That makes me smile!
I hope you can take a few minutes to explore a little deeper and see which pieces speak to you. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. We love hearing from our clients so be sure connect with us and say hi! And if you want to stay in touch, join our VIP Insider’s Club. That’s where I show all the sneak peeks and special touches.
Thanks again for stopping in!

About Kristen: Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Kristen decided to plant her roots in Savannah, Georgia after graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design. While going to SCAD, she was honored as a Valedictorian nominee, a Presidential Scholarship Recipient, and received the Outstanding Achievement award in Jewelry Design.
With a desire to continue learning and wanting to hone in on her craft, Kristen received her Rhino CAD Certificate and attended the renowned New Approach School for Jewelers, completing the Graduate Bench Jeweler program under the direction of world-class instructor, Blaine Lewis. In 2015, she decided to start her own business, Kristen Baird Jewelry.
Celebrating a selection for Generation NEXT: Savannah’s Rising Stars of Business, Class of 2017 sponsored by Savannah Magazine, a win in the 2017 Halstead Grant sponsored by Halstead Bead, and recently being voted "Best Local Artist" and "Best Local Artisan Shop" in the 2018 Savannah Best of the Best awards, Kristen and her brand have been on the rise in both the local business scene as well as the national jewelry scene.
About the Jewelry: From the mountains of Virginia and hills of Tennessee to the coast of Georgia, Kristen Baird Jewelry designs pay homage to the waters, landscapes, and flora that bring to life the scenes of the South that Kristen has called home.
In a time where mass manufacturing is predominant, Kristen and her team utilize and preserve traditional metalsmithing skills, as they delicately and precisely craft each piece by hand in Kristen’s Savannah-based studio.
Using sterling silver, recycled 18K gold, and ethically sourced gemstones, Kristen’s jewelry is full of color and texture with juxtaposing forms both geometric and fluid, as though the designs might have sprung organically from the natural world.
Featuring pieces, like the Ripple Ring, that can be customized to fit the desires of an individual client, Kristen’s work speaks to the eco-conscious shopper that loves products with a story and a unique, customizable aesthetic.
In addition to making jewelry, as part of the Kristen Baird Core Values, volunteering in the local community is a priority and a portion of each sale is donated back to a local charity, SD Gunner Fund, to make a difference in the lives of Veterans and children with special needs.
