One of the most fantastic parts of being a 100% made-by-hand jewelry studio is that anything we can dream up, we can make....including statement cuffs with gemstones galore! This piece is fit for a queen...in fact, a queen we know and love. We knew when creating a piece for her, it was a "go big or go home" occasion so we went big and we went purple.
As you can see above, we started with flat silver sheet and began working our magic. With a purple layout, we had to use both silver and 18K yellow gold to pop the stones out even more. Right before setting the stones, we took a few photos to show the progress. It's so easy to forget how amazing the journey of a piece of jewelry is because we see it everyday, but it really is technical, scientific, and mathematical which is the fascinating part.
