One of the biggest part of our Core Values is commitment to our community. It has always been about more than just the jewelry! We love being involved with our community and really enjoy contributing our time to causes that are close to the heart. We are dedicated to donating our resources toward making our mark on this city, that we love so much. Giving back is just what we do and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
That said, we are happy to announce that Kristen Baird® Jewelry is getting involved with the SD Gunner Fund.
About SD Gunner Fund
The SD Gunner Fund is a non-profit organization, that was created to assist Veterans and disabled children with the financial expense of owning much needed service animals. Service Animals require a variety of necessary items in order to perform their service. Those items can include but are not limited to: vests, custom harnesses, other assistance items, veterinary visits, and more. Service dogs are trained to support individuals with mobility, hearing, psychiatric, and brain/neurological disabilities. These dogs are professionally trained to meet the individual needs of their partner and complete tasks such as opening doors, picking up dropped objects, assisting with daily dressing, or pulling a manual wheelchair. The SD Gunner Fund can also assist Veterans and disabled children with a variety of “other” financial assistance if needed.
How we’re getting involved
Aside from donations that we’ll be making quarterly, ultimately, Kristen Baird® Jewelry has set a goal to partner with the SD Gunner Fund and fully sponsor a Service Doggie, such as Gunner. This is a very exciting goal for us and we cannot wait to make this goal a reality.
