Exciting news! Kristen Baird® Jewelry has been selected to participate in the Isle of Hope Art & Music Festival, the premier art festival in Savannah. On October 26th, I will join over 100 local artists, tastemakers, food vendors, and musicians for a celebration of Savannah culture and history. If you’re looking for an opportunity to shop, try on, or make your Kristen Baird® Jewelry wishlist in person for the holidays, this is THE PLACE to do so.
About Isle of Hope
The Isle of Hope Art Show was started in 2000 by Ruthie and Noel Wright in front of their house on Bluff Drive. It later expanded to include the Isle of Hope Marina and Pavilion. The event features live music, tons of food trucks, and nearly 100 local artisans.
I’ve always been captivated by the enchanting landscape and architecture of Isle of Hope. The whole place feels like it’s straight out of an episode of HGTV, filled with dreamy coastal beauty. Stroll under the shady trees draped with Spanish moss, past the picturesque Greek Revival homes, to the lovely marina while browsing the incredible range of local artwork. It’s a Southern dream come true!
Kristen Baird and the Isle of Hope Festival
Jurying into the Isle of Hope Festival is a highly selective process, so I was beyond thrilled to be accepted into the 2020 festival. Unfortunately, that event had to be canceled due to COVID and the past four years have been a blur. I’m so excited to finally be participating in the festival for the first time in 2024!
I’m often asked about doing trunk shows and private parties in the months leading up to the holidays, but my calendar is usually filled up with commission projects and online orders. This year, however, you’re in luck! I will be bringing all of my in-studio inventory to the Isle of Hope Festival, so you’ll be able to shop both silver and gold jewelry across every collection, plus one-of-a-kind pieces. If you want to shop KBJ in person before the holidays, getting out to the show is your best bet!
Finally, if you’re interested in scheduling an in-person shopping experience or working on a customized piece for the holidays, stop by my booth and let me know. We’ll get something on the calendar!
We'll update this post with our location at the festival as soon as we know it!
(If you’re not able to make the festival, remember selections of my work are always available at Gallery 209!)
KBJ Recommends
Of course, you won’t be coming to the festival only to see yours truly. Here are a few of my top recommendations for you to explore!
Maddie Grace Art - I’ve always loved the colorful and joyful abstract paintings by Maddie Grace. If you’re looking for the perfect piece of artwork for your home, you simply must check out her creations. I especially love her tablescapes!
Lovelane Designs - My boys absolutely adore the creative costumes from Lovelane Designs, and I have an inkling your little ones will too. From princesses, to superheroes, to mermaids and dragons, Lovelane will help the imagination soar!
Rhoot Man Beverage Company - I’ve known Sidney, the owner and mixologist at Rhoot Man for a long time and you can bet I have many of his incredible mixers in my fridge. His unique and refreshing recipes make for all-natural cocktails and mocktails that will take your hosting game to the next level.
Darling Lemon - If you’re looking for the perfect souvenir or postcard to send home from your trip to Savannah, you have to stop by Darling Lemon. Their hand-illustrated notecards, stationary, and journals are sure to be treasured. Also, they also use Paprika Southern for all their photography, so you know they have great taste!
Hillary Davenport Design - Hillary is a fellow SCAD graduate whose work I really admire. She’s the only person I’ve met to work in the repousse medium, a style of hand-imprinted metal. You absolutely must stop by her booth to see what it’s all about. These pieces also make great souvenirs!
But the best part of Isle of Hope will be the completely unexpected discoveries you make along the way. I can’t wait to see you there!
